I mean who really knows whether they exist or not. The idea of being able to escape and wander off into this mythical wonderland sounds like a dream come true when real life gets hard. It’s so much easier to just to get away, go on an adventure, beat the bad guy at the end of the day and become the hero of your precious wonderland. 

And that there’s always hope of finding your Prince Charming in reality too. Then the both of you just runaway while your tiara shines bright on the top of your head and your long dress trails flowing behind you.
